Previously living in Los Angeles, now living in De Pere, singer/songwriter Jackson Mankowski has been performing professionally since 2013. He has recorded and released many singles and EPs over the years, writing and recording alongside fellow songwriter Dan Rodriguez from Minneapolis for a few projects.

DADDIO is a contemporary improvisational group comprised of some of the most experienced players in Wisconsin. Their musical offerings range from fresh takes on others’ work to original material in a wide range of grooves and styles.

Mike‘s influences include Bud Powell, Bill Evans, Herbie Hancock, and Kenny Barron, grounding his playing in the bebop and hard bop traditions. He performs throughout the US at clubs and festivals in various formats, including solo, combos, and with vocalists. His wife is composer and jazz vocalist Erin Boehme.
